These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CryptiCars website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. About CryptiCars

CryptiCars is an online marketplace that allows users to buy and sell vehicles using cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). CryptiCars utilizes blockchain-based Smart Contracts to provide a secure escrow system for all transactions between buyers and sellers.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have legal capacity to enter contracts.
• You are responsible for complying with local laws and regulations.
• You must possess a compatible Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to facilitate payments.

4. Cryptocurrency Payments & MetaMask

• All vehicle prices are listed in fiat and converted to crypto at checkout.
• Payments are facilitated via MetaMask or other supported Web3 wallets.
• Crypto transactions are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain.
• CryptiCars is not responsible for incorrect wallet addresses or lost private keys.
• Network fees (gas fees) are borne by the customer.
• CryptiCars does not directly hold your funds; they are held in a decentralized Smart Contract.

5. Escrow Smart Contracts & Release of Funds

• Upon purchase, the buyer's payment is securely locked in an Escrow Smart Contract.
• The funds remain locked until the transaction conditions are met.
• Once the buyer receives and inspects the vehicle, the buyer must mark the transaction as "Delivered" on the platform.
• Upon this confirmation, the Smart Contract automatically releases the payment to the seller.
• If the buyer does not mark the vehicle as delivered or raises a dispute, the funds remain locked until the dispute is resolved.

6. Price Volatility

Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile. CryptiCars is not responsible for losses caused by market fluctuations after a transaction is completed. The crypto amount required for payment is locked at the time of checkout.

7. Vehicle Listings & Accuracy

We strive to ensure all vehicle information is accurate. However, CryptiCars does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of listings and is not liable for errors or omissions. Buyers are encouraged to use the direct chat feature to ask sellers questions before placing an offer.

8. Ownership & Transfer

Ownership transfer occurs only after full payment confirmation (locked in escrow), completion of legal documentation, and the buyer marking the vehicle as delivered. Delivery timelines may vary.

9. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of cryptocurrency payments and Smart Contracts, refunds are generally not possible once funds are released to the seller.

• If a buyer marks the vehicle as delivered, the Smart Contract will automatically release the funds.
• If a dispute is raised before the buyer marks the vehicle as delivered, the funds will remain locked in the Smart Contract until the dispute resolution team reviews the case and determines the appropriate outcome.

10. Dispute Resolution

If any issue occurs during the transaction (e.g., vehicle not as described, delivery issues), either party may initiate a dispute. CryptiCars provides a dispute resolution team to step in and protect both parties. The dispute resolution team will review the evidence, chat logs, and transaction details to make a fair decision regarding the release of the escrowed funds.

11. Limitation of Liability

CryptiCars shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of funds, data, or profits. While we provide a secure escrow system, CryptiCars is not liable for user errors, blockchain network failures, or smart contract vulnerabilities.

12. Prohibited Use

• Fraudulent or illegal activities.
• Money laundering or terrorist financing.
• Misuse of the platform, escrow system, or its services.

13. Changes to Terms

CryptiCars reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws.
